Job Responsibilities 

  • Introduce new agents, establish new sales accounts and maintain those already in existence.
  • Recommend promotional activities specific to individual retailer needs.
  • Instruct agents on lottery rules and regulations; provides advice to agents to maximise sales.
  • Act as liaison between retailers and management to resolve challenges and respond to inquiries.
  • Monitor weekly performance of agents and initiating corrective actions where necessary.
  • Drive linkages of sub-agents to agents within assigned area for enhanced product and service availability
  • Coordinate product, process and behavioural trainings of agents and sub-agents
  • Organise agent forum on a periodic basis.
  • Always be aware of competitive activity in the area and provide reports on competitors’ activities especially new/unusual activities.
  • Provide weekly trade reporting to cover all aspects of the business/industry
  • Maintain security for lottery tickets and other promotional items.
  • Maintain favourable public relations
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Minimum OND in Business Administration or related field
  • Minimum of 1 year work experience in similar role
  • Knowledge of the Lottery & Gaming Industry market will be an added advantage
  • Good knowledge of lottery sales representation principles and management
